(Ananthamatya’s ‘Bhojarajiyamu)

The well-being of the different living worlds
Depends on the truthful living of its inhabitants
There is no greater austere measure than
The following of truthful living for anyone.

Poetic words of wisdom and worldly truth-2

“viracimcu Sakti puTTani purushula chaduvulu prakaaSamulu gaavu”
(kaakunuuri appakavi, Appakaviiyamu)

“A person’s great learning, when not resulted in a new scholarly or creative writing, would not become known to anyone.”

The point is, it is no doubt a great jewel, but so long as it is kept in a dark room, it will remain there in darkness, its splendour unnoticed by any one, and as a result its greatness unknown to anyone. Likewise a person’s great learning, when not resulted in new scholarly or creative writing, would remain unknown to the outside world.

Poetic words of wisdom and worldly truth-1

“kaDa leani yaakaliyu daahamu reMDunu deaha dharmamul”

Limitless hunger and thirstiness are the features of body-bearing mortals.

As one cannot experience, either with his senses or with intellect,
Would it be proper to say there is no *Godly quality in things that exist?
While looking at, human eye cannot see at the same moment
The backside of a thing ; can it then be said, it doesn’t at all exist?

[*tattvam – Vedantic truth that is beyond the comprehension of common man. It says, each and every particle of the universe, either live or not, is filled with a miniscule part of the Supreme Being (paramatma) and because of the existence of this Godly quality in everything, nothing in the universe is inferior to any.]
